President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday finally resumed in his
office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja after his 49-day medical sojourn in
London.
The President has also transmitted a letter to the National
Assembly, informing the federal lawmakers of his return.
The two presidential spokesmen, Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu,
confirmed this to State House correspondents shortly after they met with Buhari
in his office.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on National
Assembly Matters (Senate), Ita Enang, has arrived to collect the letter.
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo will soon be meeting wih the
President in his office.
