Fidelity Bank customers win N16m in promo draw


In continuation of its efforts to raise saving culture and promote financial inclusion, Fidelity Bank Plc has again rewarded seven customers in its Get Alert in Million Promo with N16 million.
In its second quarterly draw and sixth monthly edition of promo held at its head office last Tuesday in Lagos, Mr. Johnson Chukwujieme Ndelekwute of Ihiala branch of the bank, emerged the winner of the quarterly star prize of N5 million, while two customers, each  from Lagos and Abuja respectively , won N1 million apiece just as three other customers from South/South, South/East and South/ West regions got N2 million each and a customer from Northern region won N3 million.
Also aside from the cash prizes, other customers also won consolation prizes, ranging from refrigerators and generating sets.
The winners emerged from randomization process vented by the bank's control team and witnessed by officials from Consumer Protection Council (CPC) and other regulators.
The six cash prize winners include Oge Mordi,Lagos and Sunday Alokha, Abuja, N1 million each; Rev. Father Luismary Okeyia, South/South, and Obochi Bridget Nwanneka, South/ East, N2 million apiece.
The rest are Toheed Bolaji, South West, N2 million and Saminu Sanni, North, N3 million.
The bank's Executive Director, Products and Shared Services, Chijioke Ugochukwu, noted that the promo is the bank's commitment to promote the culture of savings which would ultimately bolster the economy.
"Savings serve as a veritable instrument for capital mobilisation to finance aggregate investment required for economic growth. As an active participant in the Nigerian economy, we are supporting the federal government by making savings available for critical infrastructure deployments that would aid socio-economic development.
"In spite of the tough times, savings is very important and Fidelity Bank will not relent in its efforts to improve the standard of living of its customers," she added.
She noted that based on monthly and quarterly draws conducted, 72 winners had emerged with a total of N49 million.
