As many artistes in other parts of the nation make names in
the entertainment and movie industry, a worthy son of Imo State and Orlu in
particular shook the walls of the entertainment outfit with a big bang on the 5th
of July as he drops another track “dance” featuring Selebobo. Florentus Ifeanyi
Bobby Ugwoegbu (popularly known as Bobby Maris) hails from Ndimbara
Owere-Ebeiri in Orlu Local Government area of Imo State, but grew up partly in
Awka in Anambra State and Jos , Plateau State. The talented singer studied and
graduated in The prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.
On the 5th of July, the pages of the internet,
youtube, itunes, twitter, facebook etc were ampled with this newest release of
this great talent. Speaking to Forum Newspapers, the artiste described himself
as unique, and always motivated by good things, a perfectionist, who always
wants to make a difference, “I came into the game to make a difference” he
said. He described his recent release
“DANCE” in which he featured Selebobo as a song for excitements and good times.
“The song Dance which I featured Selebobo is a jolly good song (song for good times) and Selebobo
is a beat monster so I decided to use
him. He is a very good producer” he hinted. The present track is one among many
released by this budding and promising talent of our time. Bobby Maris also has
an official track titled Boggux featuring Dumex in his musical index.
On the hope for more, Bobby Maris expressed that his goal is
to go worldwide, and the aim is to push without having a stopover. On the
delays, the artiste described his journey towards prominence as a tough one
because of lack of official sponsor yet, but believes that God will intervene
